One of the leaders of the Boston Celtics, Jayson Tatum, will earn more in the 2024/2025 National Basketball Association (NBA) season than all five of the highest paid players in the National Hockey League (NHL).
According to calculations, Tatum will receive $62.8 million for the next season, while Toronto Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthews, Colorado Avalanche forward Nathan MacKinnon, Vancouver Canucks forward Elias Pettersson, Toronto forward William Nylander and Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnjak will earn a combined $61.6 million for the 2024/2025 season.
Recall, the Boston Celtics faced the Dallas Mavericks club in the final series of the NBA. At the end of five games, the winner of the NBA finals was the Celtics, winning four games.
